We took delivery of a 2007 Alphard with a new Anniversary Conversion 1st Dec 23. Though we have not camped out in it yet here are my comments so far. . Quality and finish of conversion excellent. The Alphard base vehicle was presented in almost as new condition. Any teething/ learning issues dealt with quickly and efficiently. Really looking forward to our first camping trip.

We were drawn to Direct Campers by their amazing website after searching other companies on line. Their site was by far the best and showed a premium conversion on an Alphard we were looking for. The customer service was excellent. The attention to detail was spot on and we were always made to feel at ease. Chris & Amy kept in contact with us all throughout the buying procedure. We live in The Midlands so videos photos and emails were always being sent to keep us up to date. We had visited previously so knew what a great set up they had! Big thank you to Miles for a great handover. We are now the proud owner of a beautiful premium conversion that sits proudly on our drive. We would highly recommend Direct Campers!

We bought our first campervan from Chris and Amy after visiting other converters. They are very knowledgeable and put us at ease throughout the whole purchase. Nothing is too much for them- they answer all questions whether simple or not and care for the product and person buying. Amy is very easy to talk with and Chris is always ready to help.very pleased with our purchase.

Amazing place, Firstly the choice, a great selection to work out your individual needs. Secondly the knowledge, Chris and Amy are so knowledgable took us through every question, advice and guidance, answered questions in our conversations that I was still thinking about, absolutely brilliant, The whole process was seamless, friendly, simply brilliant. Absolutely The Best place to go for Campers in North of England, obviously buying a van if quite big out lay but rest assured your in very safe hands with these guys . Friendly and understanding. I had a minor issue that was sorted very quickly. They are Great Chris. Amy , Darren and sorry I forgot the other lads name but all great 150% 👍

Our experience with Direct Campers was a little touch and go to begin with but what makes Direct Campers so good to work with is the customer service (something you can’t put a price on in my opinion)
Every issue we had (and i should highlight they weren’t massive issues) was dealt with efficiently, with great attention to detail and i’m sure great cost the business, even the one we had caused ourselves which Chris kindly resolved free of charge
Nothing has been too much for Direct Campers and i can’t thank Chris, Darren and Amy enough for helping us get settled into out Alphard, it can only be 5 stars from us

Direct Campers (and Chris in particular) were brilliant. Suffered all my enquiries via email and telephone for the best part of a full day ... then further tolerated my barrage of naive questions when we visited. Better than that, when we backed out of buying a vehicle that we thought we wanted ('cos we hadn't fully thought it through) ... Chris was brilliant and continued to be helpful even when there was no immediate sale in the offing! Highly recommended .

If you’re looking for a top quality campervan in the North East of England this is absolutely the place to go. Chris and Amy put customer service at the heart of what they do and their attention to detail is second to none. Also, they are clearly honest and genuinely care about their customer and aren’t interested in making a quick profit like some converters seem to be doing at the moment. We are delighted with our new van from them and the minor niggles we had have been put right without any fuss and totally to our convenience,. We were keen to make this major purchase with someone we could build a relationship with and trust - we can’t recommend Direct Campers in Newcastle high enough!

This is my first time owning a Camper Van and Direct Campers were exemplary.

Chris was exceptional from the first call, to doing a deal and all the way through to the aftercare.

As a new owner, I had lots of questions, which Chris always answered for me very promptly. Chris’s knowledge of the Camper was first class and I had no reservation from buying a van through Direct Camper’s.

I search for a VW Camper van for over a month and looked at most companies and what they offered. The differentiator with Chris from Direct Campers was clear from the outset. The knowledge of the product and the very personable approach was very refreshing. There was no hard sell and I always felt that my purchase was important to them and valued. With regards to the Camper itself, I think you can see from the pictures that this is the best spec on the market and when you compare the price and product with other Camper Van companies, you realise that this is exceptionally priced and the finishing is second to none.

I would personally recommend Direct Campers unreservedly.

Awesome customer service from Direct Campers, Newcastle. My first contact was with Chris, he couldn’t have been more helpful unlike some others I had contacted in the same trade. My second contact was with Amy, by the time I came off the phone I felt I had genuinely known her for ages. The couple are a delight to deal with. All my enquiries were made by phone from Northern Ireland and both Amy and Chris dealt with my questions as if I was beside them in the showroom. They sent me pictures and videos of the VW T6 conversion I wished to purchase, and when the sale was agreed they dealt with paperwork with ease. We agreed a collection date and my wife Issy and I made the trip across to Newcastle. We couldn’t wait to meet Chris and Amy and collect what had been a dream for years. Our camper was sitting in the forecourt waiting for us…. It was amazing, it was even better than our expectations. We were two very happy customers.

We love our new campervan! Alex and Hugh provided a fantastic service, very knowledgeable, Hugh spent ages showing us the vans in stock with no hard sell. They sourced a van for us and carried out the conversion all within about 4 weeks. We visited a couple of other dealers but felt Direct Campers was outstanding - would highly recommend.
